Yahoo! is still open to negotiations with Microsoft

The president-executive of Yahoo, Jerry Yang, said here Monday (5) to the news agency Reuters that it was Microsoft who left the negotiating table and that he is still open to talk to the software manufacturer.

Shares of Yahoo fell 15 percent in Monday after Microsoft withdraw its offer of 47.5 billion dollars by the Internet.

After three months of negotiations, the president-executive of Microsoft, Steve Ballmer raised his proposal to 33 U.S. dollars per share - the initial offer was 31 dollars - but Yang maintained its position calling for 37 U.S. dollars.
